San Juan 21 Class Association

Kurti, I am taking your advice and have started removing all hardware not sure what grit sand paper to start with . I am first applying hull prep going to west marine to get recommendations on products that will be best for the job any suggestions

Ok next question, we have decided to re paint the boat any suggestions it is powder blue now and want to go white with a hunter green stripe . So does any one have any suggestions on which way to do this do I use gel coat or just bring it to a body shop and have it painted ?

I talked to the dummy he drilled the hole to empty the water out that was sitting in the boat from the rain Because he did not feel like reaching in and hooking up the battery to turn on the bilge pump. A drill was closer go figure

Ok next question does anyone Know the best place to get parts. I need new molding around the keel gasket ,would like to find a new deck hatch and windows,and anthing else that woud be specfic to the SJ21.

The hole is 4" up from keel just off to starboard.

ok I just bought my 1st sj21 and I am getting ready to start the overhaul when i noticed some dummy drilled a 3/4 inche hole in the transom to drain the water out . Now I new this was going to be a project but does anybody have any ideas that might help me with this. I hope to get this boat done and...
