These sails are old, worn and may make better sweater material than used as a sail.

I have the mast head topping lift. I like it because after raising the main sail, I don't t have to worry about unhooking the boom off the backstay before falling off. Since i mostly single hand, its one less thing to worry about.

I measured mine a 50" below the bottom of the hull. Add 12" draft and you have a boat with a 5' draft.

The spin locks work well as long as you can pull the line straight down. You will need to have the cleat next to the bulkhead to do this. Also, when the wind is up, it may be difficult to do this. I have had my keel out twice on Charmed Juan. I can lift my trailer on blocks, remove the axle and slide it forward out of the way of the keel so there is nothing underneath it.
