Re: "The Duck" MkI #889
Ben, very cool... I'm part of Fleet 1 in Seattle, and I remember seeing that boat on CL a while back. There are 3 other Fixed Keel's over in Brownsville, Wa, on the back side of Bainbridge island. We invited them to race at our National's event the last time we held it, but their scheduling didn't w...

Re: What would you like to see from this Class/Website?
I've voiced my thoughts pretty thoroughly on Hubbard's site, and they could easily take up 4-5 pages, so I won't rehash them all... but I think a better return on value for the National Dues is probably the next thing to tackle. Re: New owner of 2030
Jimb, if you're in the Seattle area definitely contact us guys in fleet 1 and try to come out for some races or something. We always have single handers looking for crew or just company. Check out our forums if you make it this way and need a ride sometime, www.sj21fleet1forums.org.

Re: Portsmouth Racing Discussion
Pretty well actually IME too... Fausto Deguzman, Jim Altice, and Myself from Fleet 1 raced the "Winter Vashon" in Pugest Sound, December 2009 in Fausto's SJ21 Habagat. We were the smallest boat on the water, and the slowest as well, but in the end we finished 91st out of 95 boats across the line, bu...
