I also have a pair of original (unmounted) winches that I have consider...

Re: Greetings

North Channel Sail Plans?
We're planning a week-long trip in the North Channel beginning August 14. We'll have our two boys (7 and 11) in tow and will be sailing along with another family (of four) in their own boat. Despite the fact that we have a luxury ride like our SJ21, we don't mind roughing it and wouldn't mind sleepi...

Re: What would you like to see from this Class/Website?
This site and new forum seem like a great foundation for the future of the class, and I appreciate the efforts of those working behind the scenes. One thing I see on other class sites that seems to be missing here are a list of benefits of joining the association. What those benefits should be has b...

Re: How much does just the trailer weigh?
Michigan has the same rules, but the cutoff for the next weight class is 2500 pounds. Knowing that both boat and trailer would weigh less than 2500 pounds, I just went to my local truckstop Cat scale and weighed them both. The weight slip was enough to satisfy our requirements. #2263 in Ann Arbor
Hello! This past February our family become the proud owners of a 1979 mkII (which shall go unnamed for now--we are in the middle of the de-naming process).
