Seattle Nood: Wanna save some cash?

Anyone looking to come to the seattle NOOD? but might not want to spend all the money towing a boat and paying all the extra gas that comes with using your tow rig instead of your little 4 banger?

I'd love to race in the NOOD this year, but funds are a quite tight so I can't afford the entrance fee + us sailing + party fees, etc, so i'm wondering if anyone would like to charter my boat, or even work some split costs out or something.

My boat is a 74 MKI, hull #897, named Mizu (Japanese for Water). She's set up with a rear mounted rope traveler, Kerr Main and Jib sails (both older but in very nice shape for their age. She has a new .75oz fabric Sailrite Spinnaker. The boat was off trailer 2 years back where all crummy bottom paint was stripped from the Keel and Hull. all divots/gouges/scratches were filled in and some "topside" paint was applied and sanded so the bottom is pretty nice.

I'm not the fastest skipper in Fleet 1 by any stretch, but my boat has been chartered before and has been proven to be able to keep up and beat the fastest boats in the fleet. Mizu has at least one trophy to prove it:)

Shoot me an email if interested.

Thanks
Christian

just to be clear, I am hoping to crew, i just can't afford this race all by myself, and was thinking maybe someone coming from out of town could save a few bucks here and there, split costs, etc..

Mizu's now on board, she's going to splash down with Rob Anderson... See you all in a couple weeks, i'm really looking forward after missing all of it last year!
