How cramped are (4) people in the cockpit of a Mark II? Thanks.

More so than in a Mk I, less so than a MkIII and it depends on how she is set up, headknocker, traveller in middle of cockpit. 4 200 lb. guys won't really have any room to move. It helps to keep someone in the open hatch.

I think 4 people would be fine on my MKII for a daysail, especially if the wind was moderate and you didn't need to worry about which side they sat on. It would get crowded after a few hours, but no problem for the first 2. i just spent 2 days on ours with the wife and two kids with no problem, though we are small people, or what used to called average....

Folks

what difference do you find in a Mark II and III? The only difference I see is some mark III's have no lazarette?

Mike, afaik the MKIII doesn't have the lazarette... It was my understanding that is the only real difference. We have a bit of a "writeup" on the Fleet 1 site about it...
