Using the skills and assets of San Juan 21 owner John Holmberg the regatta T-shirt design has been finalized. It incorporates the image of Fred Rehm who passed away earlier this year. Fred Rehm has been a major contributor to the class and, as many of you know, a strong competitor on the water. Fred is the only SJ 21 skipper to win a National’s on both coasts. He was the Jib Sheet editor for many years and served as the 1979 Class Commodore.

We plan to offer the T-shirts in both, standard and wicking and short and long sleeved T-shirts. Each pre-paid skipper will get a standard short sleeved T in his registration packet. Details on how to order T’s will be finalized in the March NOR.

The SJ 21 Class Association this year has adopted changes to the By-laws. One change is on “chartering” a boat at the regatta. By next month, we will outline details on chartering. Another change is how a “membership card” is administered after you have paid your dues for the year. More details on these changes should be available on the web site early next year.
