Galley project

Post by jdavis » Wed Mar 06, 2013 2:17 am

Wanted to share my galley portable project with you guys and gals. Since finishing "Final One II" we have been cruising her with our trailer club, but as you know the boat suffers in the criusing dept. I found inspiration for this galley kit from a somewhat recent article on Small Boat Journal on a portable galley project. I modeled my version around an inexpensive butane stove and then added some storage compartments, and double duty lid, and some leftover cleat handles. All from shop scrap material!

Well done! Looks great, i might copy it. It would be nice to put it on the lazarette and cook outside the cabin.

Nice box - I like the cleat handles.
