2012 Eastern Calendar

Post by Capndar » Sun Jun 26, 2011 6:58 pm

The Eastern Class meeting voted for the the 2012 "Midwinter Championships to be held in conjunction with the 2012 NOOD-St Pete Fla., while also endorsing the "Early Spring Championships" at Lake Norman in March.

I'd like to make a special offer to any 'northern' boats who want to hit two regattas but only trailer south one time....go to Fla, race in February, bring your boat as far back as Charlotte, NC, leave it at our safe/secure club for a few weeks, then return and race the "Early Spring Championships" at LNYC, and all before the snow has melted in the northern climes!! - and this offer could probably work for any midwestern boats as well! This is all space permitting, but we can likely accomodate a number of boats!

Ya'll come to lake Norman (NC) for Labor Day this year!

Checked with the events manager for the St. Pete NOODS for 2012. She confirmed Feb. 17,18,19, 2012.
So check your calenders and ask Santa for a Fl trip for Christmas.

Chris Popich challenged the east coast to best the west coast goal of 20 boats at the NOODS/Mid-winters

We also would like to expand on Mike R's invitation to store northern boats.
Come to the Kettle Cup on Dec. 3 & 4, 2011 on Lake Monroe, Sanford,Fl. , some of us in Fleet 29 will find a secure and happy home for your boat until the Feb NOODS/Midwinters in St. Pete,
then on to LNYC for storing and racing in March.
