2011 LMSA Kettle Cup - SJ21 Results

Had a great time sailing in the Kettle Cup this year. San Juan 21 one design racing is alive and well in central Florida.

Hello sailors,
What a great weekend at Lake Monroe for our annual Kettle Cup regatta !
47 entries overall. Mid 70 temps. 12 + winds and....
11 San Juan 21s !!!
Jim and Margaret Davis made there true "maiden voyage" in their beautifully restored MKII "Final One II"
John North's 2nd time on the water with his pretty blue MKI "John's Juan" (temp. name ?)
Tom Dyll "Black Jack", Greg Archmabault and Anita Zebek "El Gato", Ralph Jones "Dixie Chicken", Steve Sigfried "Box of Kittens"
Byron Hicks and D.J. McCabe "Phoenix Rising" , Carlton and Aggie Brown "Just Us" gave our best sailing efforts against
Randy Pawloski "Pivot" 3rd place, Kyle Everly "Dat Dang Boat" 2nd place and Fisk Hayden "Old Yeller" 1st.
We had a great time . Raised a lot of money for the Salvation Army of Seminole County and look forward to sailing together again soon.

Hello all,
Thank you all for helping to make this 2011 Kettle Cup our best yet. Your participation has allowed LMSA to donate over $1500. to the Seminole County Salvation Army. This money will go to help needy local families during this Holiday season. Special thanks to John and Nancy Fox for officiating this Regatta, we can't do this without a great team at the top .For those interested I have attached the race results.

The Kettle Cup was perfect! 47 boats registered 45 raced in 4 divisions. Great weekend with wicked winds, sunshine and great sailors. Wolfy's provided the food and the location with a few adult beverages.
