Adding a spinnaker block

Post by JHubb » Sat Feb 27, 2021 7:28 pm

I have been offered a used asymmetrical spinnaker from a Catalina 22 for my mark 1
Not sure if I'm going to buy it, but it got me thinking and looking at my mast.
I have a furler for the jib, so i cant use that halyard for a spinnaker, but i don't see a good spot to add another block.
SO i thought I'd consult the gurus.
Anybody have any suggestions on how to add a spinnaker with a furler?
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff, did you get this sorted out? The spinnaker block should be 4" above the headstay attachment point.
