Does anyone have a copy of George Mann's drawings for the Aluminum gasket? I used to have a copy but cannot find them. I need some dimensions.

I may suggest not using any stalk dimensions if you want to make your own keel gasket. You'd think that the keel slot shape and size would be consistent from boat to boat. Ha! This is the SJ 21 we're talking about! I've put five gaskets on different boats now and none of them fit the same. If you really want a good fit you should probably measure your boat individually and make a gasket to fit.

Thanks Bob, I suspected that might be the case.

If anyone was willing to put up a detailed write up on installing a kit or making one from scratch, that would be awesome. I would like to do this at some point but how it actually works is a mystery to me. I am sure i have read everything about them, but the physics of the system still allude me.
