Who's coming early? AKA taking a vacation?

Hello All...

Fleet 1 is really looking forward to the North American Championships in OH this coming June, and were hoping to be able to see some of you out of towners for a bit more of an extended timeframe than we usually get. So far I'm hearing from 2-3 people that that's exactly what they plan to do! The Klamath Falls fleet has 2 people interested and I think Bob Abelin mentioned, time permitting, that he had some of the Montana contingent might be doing the same.

Soooo... what's the roll call for an extended stay looking like?

As you can see, I've already posted a guide on visiting Wa state, and some of the things you can do on your way to Oak Harbor, but are there any specifics that some of might be interested in doing? If so, let us know, and we'd love to accommodate you!

Thanks
Christian

Ramblin Rose, Hull 1505, from Klamath Falls, Fleet 51. My crew and I are planning on making the trip early. Arriving on June 17 and enjoying sometime away for a little vacation. It would be nice to do a little ocean fishing, trying to catch our dinner :)

It will be great to see the Klamath falls contingent up early. I think a few Fleet 1 boats will be up there early but i'm not sure of everyone's plans yet. I'll likely be up there sometime monday or tuesday, I haven't totally decided yet.

Another thing to note, is that Anacortes is only about 30 minutes from Oak harbor, has a boat ramp too, and is a quick jumping off point into the San Juans. So if you're coming early, that might be another "cruising" destination as well.

Thanks
