Hey everyone, registration has been posted for a couple weeks, and registrations are slowly trickling in. If you're wanting to get in on dinner, tshirts, hats, etc, please register asap. Some people have scanned and emailed their forms to us so we have a heads up as well, so that's another option if you're running a little late.

Thanks

Christian,

I mailed my registration yesterday (5/28). Ready for some Superfuzz and fresh dugeoness crab. (I'm bringing my crab pot to drop on the way out to the race course :). Looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday 6/19, only three weeks from today!!!

Marc Vander Schalie AKA Sparky
Kermit 1033

P.S. We should have some big bonfires...

Marc, if you remember what you ordered, email it to me and i'll forward it on so the OHYC can start tracking those things.

And we're coordinating the Beer story now... I've suggested everyone at NOOD liked the super fuzz, so hopefully that will show up at the event:)

Marc,
I would prefer it if you just keep draggin' that crab pot around with ya.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again. For those who have not sailed out of Oak Harbor before, it is a great venue and should have good sailing conditions. The only trick can be getting to the race course. Depending on where they set the course it can be up to five miles from the marina and generally the wind doesn't fill in till just before race time. Please plan accordingly.

Bob is correct... The Thursday practice race will be in conjunction with an OHYC night race, but with our own start, and it will be as far into OH as the PRO can set a course for our 21's. For Friday's racing we've asked them to keep us as close to the mouth of OH as possible as well, but of course, we want wind and lots of it for more racing, so it is subject to the PRO's choice. For Saturday we'll likely be up further into Penn Cove. It's absolutely beautiful and supposed to have really nice winds and good racing up in there but it can be a pretty decent motor.

Motor's aren't required but strongly recommended.

Thanks
Christian
