So, I managed to steal a few weekends to start on the cleanup of the SJ21. She has two mains with covers, a jib, a genoa, and a spinnaker with what appears to be a deployment bag. Standing rigging all appears sound and in decent condition. Running rigging is tired but cleaned up well. She has a drop down rudder that just needs the shock cord replaced. One of the mains appears to be original and has #174 on it. The others are north sails and are all in good shape.
All in all, I feel VERY fortunate to have come across what appears to be a solid little boat! She scrubbed up pretty well and after getting a good coat of wax on her she's back under a tarp for the winter. I'll be looking for a motor and doing the few repairs she needs so that hopefully I can get her in the water in the spring!
I'm attaching some before and after pics.
Ciao for now,
Lon
