Hi, I'm Barry Sacharow and I just recently purchased a SJ21 MkII named "Shalom" which we will test in the water this weekend. I am based in Hollywood FL.

Hi Barry, Congrats on the purchase! That's a great home base you have. Are you going to use the boat for racing, cruising or both? Hope you can come sail with Fleet 29 one of these days. Its a great bunch or die hard SJ owners.

I'm actually looking forward to that, as we/Shalom evolves. My Daughter & Grandchildren live in Kissimmee so my plans include becoming a member of the Fleet. As for regattas, well, we will see. First, however I've got to get her wet, which she hasn't been in the 4 months I'v owned her. Hopefully next weekend, as we got rained and Holidayed out this weekend. Thanks for your invitation. BTW do you know of some SJ21 owners at Blackpoint Marina in Homestead FL?

I own Survivor, a MK II and also live in Hollywood. We mostly race in the Biscayne Bay but also splash in N. Lake. Let's connect. Good to know there's another SJ21 owner down here.
