Hi...
I just purchased a very old Mark I, sail number 621. Since I'm located in central Ohio, I don't expect to join any of the SJ21 fleets; my plan is to use the boat for daysailing with my home "port" being Delaware Lake. There are a number of other lakes in the area suitable for sailing, and I'm only 2 hours from Lake Erie.
The boat needs some work, and I'll need some help from the forum, I'm sure. I've already found that the keel winch has no brake, the cable is frayed, and neither the block nor the sheave turn!
Looking forward to lots of enjoyment with this boat,
George
