Found Lazarette friendly gas tank

Hey everyone,

I know it has been difficult in the past to find a gas tank that fits in the lazarette, but walmart has one now that i can certify fits nicely. Its an Atwood brand, 3 gal. this with another 2 gal can is going to make my cruise to cape lookout a lot more cockpit friendly.

Thanks for sharing on this! I found it advertised cheaper on line, but not available. I found one locally, and it barely fit but only after removing the threaded hose/coupling fitting. Once in there it will have to stay in, unless I shave the opening some, and make a notch to clear that fitting.

yeah, it is tight, but fits. I can just compress the tank a bit and the nozzle fits, but given differences in manufacturing tolerances, I could imagine a need to remove the fitting. still the best solution i have seen though. glad it worked for you.
