I was out on the West Coast, minding my own business, when I suddenly noticed a San Juan 21, sail number 2307, had attached itself to my truck. The next thing I knew it had followed me all the way back to Alberta! She's in good but not great shape, all the standard needs, rebedding deck hardware, new running rigging, etc. and as it is for so many others, she has become my obsession! This is a fabulous site with tons of information and I am glad that this boat is so treasured.

Re: New Owner
Welcome Bruce, I'm starting to think anyone that gets one (or two) of these boats is a nut-bar. Chris and Steve and the rest of the Calgary fleet will be great sources of info for your obsession. Hope to see you on the water.

Re: New Owner
Bill, you're correct, the Sj21 class as a whole is full of unique and individual people:) but the ones that have or have gone through multiple Sj21's are the most special and unique of all, lol.

Re: New Owner
Hi Bruce; Where in Alberta are you?
We are just north of Red Deer, and sail primarily on Gull Lake.
