Sails
Ok to start I want to thank everyone for your info it is helping, now next question new sails The boat came with 2 sets not used in 4 years but still feel crisp . I would like to get a new set and a spinnaker anyone know a good place on line . I live just north of Tampa and I am trying to find a fleet near by, I looked at 9 and 29 but I do not see any way to contact either one is their a fleet here.
Re: Sails
Two recomendations for sails would be Kerr Sails in Tulsa, OK or Doyle Sails Inner Banks Loft in N.C. Our personal prefference for sails are Kerr Main and Jib, and a Doyle Spinnaker.
Roger Kerr can be reached at 918-437-0544 or kerrsail@aol.com
Doyle Sails Inner Banks loft link is below:

I'd be cautious of the very large lofts, (North Sails) as they know nothing about our boats, and also the very small local lofts that build cruising sails. You'll want to make sure that whoever builds your sails, has been around the boat and knows some of the qwirks that our boats/class rules have.

Re: Sails
Most people in Fleet 1 are using Doyle and Kerr sails. I just ordered a set from a different company that i'm going to try out. The last time I got a quote I think a Spinnaker was around 800-1k. I built my own last year from a sailritesails.com kit. Went together very easy, and saved about half the cost of a brand new one. Some have asked how "fast" it is... and last year on an ~6 mile spinnaker run, 3 Fleet 1 boats rounded the mark about 25 seconds apart, and those other two were pro built so it's very competitive:)
Also, looks like fleet 29 should be contactable. http://sj21class.org/contacts.php Carlton and Aggie are very active, so shoot them an email and see what they say. I'm not sure what their contact info is either, but I think they're on the forums here. If I can find it, i'll let ya know.
