BoB (#19) is the second SJ21 that I have owned. The first was U4RIC (#32). My wife Laura and I owned U4RIC from 1986 to 1996. We sold U4RIC to Bill Spens. I believe he still has her.
BoB was found more or less abandonded in a parking lot sitting on several old tires. The year was about 2005 and the boats name was Kestral. I borrowed a trailer to bring BoB home. Launched him in the garage where he stayed all winter. All the deck hardware came off to be rebedded, a new mast was found, used sails were purchased, an outboard and a trailer too and a large part of the deck was recored. BoB is owned and raced by myself and a friend - Steve.
